▣ Plant quarantine

Plant quarantine, or plant quarantine, can only be imported after inspection by the Agricultural and Forestry Quarantine Inspection Headquarters. The purpose of the plant inspection is to prevent damage to our crops and protect natural resources by inspecting the presence of disease and harmful insects attached to plants and plants that are imported and exported to prevent them from spreading or entering our borders and taking quarantine measures (disposal, disposal, or return) if harmful insects are found. Plant quarantine is carried out in accordance with the Plant Quarantine Act, and in order to harmonize the WTO/SPS Agreement, Korea has revised the Plant Quarantine Act to implement scientific and strict quarantine procedures based on international standards by operating the following disease control system.
